Develop In-House Sustainability Talent with CCP-S
Aeterni supports companies in applying for the Career Conversion Programme – Sustainability (CCP-S), helping them reskill new hires or existing employees into sustainability-related roles. The programme is designed to help employers broaden their talent pool while developing in-house sustainability capabilities. Eligible companies may receive salary support of up to 90%, depending on the employee profile.
What is CCP-S?
The Career Conversion Programme – Sustainability (CCP-S) helps employers build sustainability capabilities by reskilling employees into sustainability-related roles. It supports both new hires and existing employees through structured training and on-the-job development, while providing eligible employers with salary support during the conversion period.
CCP-S is applicable to Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents and is offered through two pathways:
New Hires
For newly hired employees under a Place-and-Train pathway, with a programme duration of 6 months.
Existing Employees
For employees who have been with the company for at least 1 year and need to be reskilled to take on a redesigned or new sustainability-related role, with a programme duration of 3 months.
To qualify under CCP-S, the employee’s previous job scope should not already be sustainability-focused, and the proposed new job description must be at least 60% focused on sustainability.
Eligible employers may receive salary support based on the employee’s age, with 70% support capped at S$5,000 per month for those below 40, and 90% support capped at S$7,500 per month for those aged 40 and above.
The programme typically includes:
- 1 mandatory sustainability course selected from a pre-approved list
- A structured on-the-job training plan
- A career development plan for the trainee
Examples of relevant job functions include carbon management, regulatory compliance and emissions reporting or verification, sustainability or carbon project development and implementation, and stakeholder management.
