Shing Shian has over 20 years of work experience in strategic communications and sustainability. As a senior sustainability consultant with Aeterni.eco, she has led consultancy projects that achieved good outcomes including EcoVadis medals and year-on-year improvements.

Prior to joining Aeterni.eco, she was with Johnson Controls, a global leader in creating smart, healthy and sustainable buildings, for more than 9 years. Shing Shian played a pivotal role as the regional communications director at Johnson Controls, articulating the company’s ESG commitments internally and externally. She led the team to achieve Best Southeast Asia B2B Campaign 2021 by PRCA and was one of the judges for Marketing Interactive’s PR awards in 2023.

Shing Shian has a Bachelor and Master of Engineering from Cambridge University, as well as a Master of Science in Management of Technology from the National University of Singapore.
