Aeterni.eco ESG Commitment

Established in October 2023, Aeterni.eco is a sustainability and impact advisory firm committed to advancing responsible business practices. We recognise the growing importance of Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) performance to our stakeholders and are dedicated to continual improvement in all material ESG areas.

Specifically, our commitments are as follows:

  • We participate in the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC) and support the Ten Principles on human rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption (since 2024).

  • We adopt the Tripartite Standards to be a fair and progressive employer (since 2024).

  • We benchmark ourselves and continuously improve on our ESG policies, practices and performance (through annual EcoVadis assessment since 2024).

To minimise our environmental footprint and lead by example in sustainable business operations.

Key Commitments:

  • GHG Emissions Management
    • Keep emissions low through digital-first, asset-light operations.

    • All events organised by us will have a carbon report.

    • Offset residual emissions annually to achieve carbon neutrality.

  • Resource Optimisation and Sustainable Procurement
    • Minimise material use through paperless and digitalised workflow.

    • Encourage employees, customers, and partners to use public transportation and “Bring Your Own (BYO)” to reduce usage of single-use plastics.

    • Source from local, lower-carbon or recyclable options wherever possible.

  • ESG Advocacy and Engagement
    • Conduct a minimum of one external training or speaking engagement per quarter to share ESG knowledge.

    • Raise awareness of sustainable habits through how we organise our events.

    • Partner with reputable organisations and clients to combat greenwashing and advance credible sustainability initiatives.

We foster a fair, inclusive, and safe workplace that values growth and well-being.

  • Fair Employment and Well-being
    • Comply with Singapore’s Tripartite Guidelines on Fair Employment Practices.

    • Monitor employee turnover rate and conduct an annual anonymous staff survey to identify improvement areas.

    • Maintain zero workplace accidents and provide health care coverage for all full-time employees.

  • Learning and Development
    • Each employee is encouraged to take two hours every week for learning plus at least one company-sponsored course per year.

    • Strengthen ESG competencies within the team through On-The-Job Training (OJT).

  • Diversity, Human Rights, and Ethical Labour
    • Maintain balanced gender representation with a target of 30–60% of full-time employees to be females, and an inclusive culture free from discrimination or harassment.

    • Prohibit all forms of forced or child labour and human trafficking across our operations and value chain.

  • Professional Integrity and Ethical Conduct
    • Enforce a Code of Ethics that all employees must abide by.

    • Prohibit all forms of corruption and anti-competitive behaviour.

    • Provide a confidential whistle-blowing channel for ethical concerns.

    • Encourage staff to obtain and maintain relevant professional certifications.

  • Data Protection and Privacy
    • All employees must attend annual training on cybersecurity.

    • Maintain zero information security and data privacy incidents.

    • Implement security controls and adopt SV-PS-230a.3 to report information breaches.

    • Maintain zero data-breach incidents and review privacy practices annually.

    • The Statement of Data Privacy is reviewed and endorsed by the CEO and published on our website.
